IRC award for research project at Marsh’s Library

€164,000 award from the IRC to research and map the intellectual and cultural geography of 19th century Dublin.

We are delighted to announce that the Irish Research Council have awarded €164,000 to Dr Marc Caball (history) and Prof Michela Bertolotto (computer science) of UCD to research and map the shifting intellectual and cultural geography of 19th century Dublin through the reader records of Marsh’s Library.

We will be hiring a computer science post-doc and humanities research assistant very soon.  Watch this space!
