Robert Steele, Huon of Bordeaux: done into English by Sir John Bourchier, Lord Berners ... (London, 1895)

Provenance: Ink inscription on upper free endpaper Good wishes Galore, to D.T. from E.S. [Sir Edward Sullivan] 1914'.On lower cover in gold lettering GOOD-DAY AND HAPPINESS, DEAR ROSALIND. JUNE 1914.
Binding: Blue morocco by one of the trade binderies and then decorated by Sullivan with gold tooling and coloured onlays. Upper cover, border formed by two lines of gouges with the space between filled with dots, leaves and pink onlays tooled with a gold rose tool. An inner panel outlined with two pointillé and one single line roll, the central panel filled with the repeated use of a pattern with a leafy stem, stars, dots and a red tulip leather onlay outlined with gold, and a tan floral also outlined in gold onlay. Lower cover with the same border and an asymmetric pattern using the same onlays and tools as the upper cover. Green onlay 'H' and brown onlay 'D', both outlined with gold dots.
