The statutes at large, passed in the parliaments held in Ireland: from the third year of Edward the Second, a.d. 1310 to the first year of George the Third, a.d. 1761 inclusive, 11 vols (Dublin, 1765–82).

Provenance: From the library of the Duke of Portland at Welbeck Abbey. Also has Althorp shelf ticket, and bookplate of Lewis Montolieu.
Binding: A magnificent set in a very handsome contemporary Irish red morocco binding (c.1782), broad gold-tooled borders, royal arms in the centre of each cover, royal cypher in corners of the centre panel enclosed by fan design using a flame tool. Spine with six gold-tooled bands and seven compartments, title on green label in the second, and dates on tan label in the fourth, the other five are gold-tooled, with repeated use of different rolls. Marbled endleaves and gilt edges. Bound in the Dublin workshop of Boulter Grierson. This is one of a small number of sets surviving intact. One set is in the British Library, and a set from the Royal Library Windsor was presented by King George v to the Irish Free State in 1927.
