Atlas, or, A Geographicke Description of the Regions, Countries and Kingdomes of the World (Amsterdam, 1636).

Three printed maps from an atlas produced by the Hondius family during the mid-1630s. We show the southern Netherlands; North Africa; and Virginia in North America.

The printed maps were hand-coloured soon after production, possibly at the request of the original purchaser of the volume.
