Wondering what to do when the inevitable cry reaches your ears: ‘I’m bored!’ ? Bring the children to Marsh’s. As well as seeing this almost unchanged eighteenth century library and the books in the exhibition, they can try writing with a quill, see where a bullet hit the books during the Easter Rising of 1916, watch a video about the history of the library and go away lots of ideas to try at home. There’s a schools programme as well, and for the bored adults, we are planning a series of lunchtime and evening talks and lectures. Watch this space!
