Festive Fun in Marsh’s

Paper baubles

Join us for our Festive Minifigure Hunt and Origami Bauble Making afternoon on Saturday 30th November to start the festive spirit.  We will be working in comfort and warmth downstairs to create a tree decoration using festive paper.  You can create one or more of three designs; a bird, an octahedron or a mini book, each should take 5 minutes to make.

What better excuse can you have to get home and get that tree up early!

No booking is required.  Arrive anytime between 12:00pm and 4.00pm.

Entry to the library will be free during this time, however we will be collecting donations for Barnardo’s Childrens Charity, so do bring all those spare coins you have and they will be gratefully added to the collection bucket!  Watch this space for a final total raised.

Minifigure Hunting
New festive minifigure team

Will on a Sill has decided not to come back to us this year – contractual issues – he wasn’t happy with the treacherous gaps in the 300 year old floorboards!  However, we have three new minifigures joining us to play hide and seek from November 30th and the month of December.  Not only do we have two new elves, Page and Buckmark…but we are beyond delighted to have scooped Santa himself!  So happy festive hunting is to be had!
