Open House 14th & 15th October

We will be taking part in Open House again this year and for a refreshing addition, we hope to meet many younger generations by taking part in the Open House Juniors programme for 2016.

There will be free entry for both Friday and Saturday and we will provide you with a plan & map of the library on arrival.  So do come and see one of Dublin’s rare eighteenth century buildings still being used for its original purpose.  Details can be found on the Open House website where you will find other places to visit in our area too.

Children of all ages are welcome to come at any time over the two days with their staff! (i.e. parents & guardians) to take part in a time travel hunt of the library, searching for clues, dates and more from the galleries and shelves.

Children will be given a Serpents & Ladders game to fill in their answers, which they can then take away with them to play at home.  If all your answers are correct, you’ll get a small prize at the door!

We look forward to meeting you all.
