School Story Writing Competition

Are you aged between 10-13 years old.  Could you be the next James Joyce?

We are looking for stories from children who have experienced life in Dublin City.  They can write about a real event or imaginary, funny or sad, but essentially it should give the reader a flavour of modern day life in and around the city, as James Joyce’s Dubliners (1915) illustrates.

The winning story writer will receive a €50 book voucher and their school will receive a €200 book voucher for the school library.  Also, the young writer will get to visit RTÉ’s recording studios and the crew from ‘The Book Show’ where they will be able to record their story for broadcasting on the show.

Closing date for the competition is Friday 24th January 2020.
