Science Week 2018: Make a Hologram Workshop

We are inviting classes of 5th and 6th students to a ‘Make a Hologram Workshop’ for Science Week this year.

The students will be given the dimensions to measure and create a template with which they will cut out, fold and combine using simple materials and tools to make a hologram ‘holder’.  They will finally use a smartphone to test out their makes.

So, can they successfully project and create a moving 3D image?

Many thanks to the 18 groups who came to our 2 week long Engineers Week. That was a total of 400 students and 80% of them could name this moving object (thanks to Star Wars!)
