#ScienceWeek 2022 (NOW FULLY BOOKED)

Takes inspiration from Peter Apian’s volvelles, one of which you can see on display in our current exhibition Liked & Shared.

Primary students see the astronomical volvelle on display and then make a replica using the same method of construction with thread and glue.  Then, we can use more modern materials and they can create another version of volvelle based on art, mathematics or phonics.

Sessions are as follows:

Tuesday 15th    9.45am-10.45am   &   11.15am-12.15pm

Wednesday 16th   9.45am-10.45am   &   11.15am-12.15pm

Thursday 17th   9.45am-10.45am   &   11.15am-12.15pm

Friday 18th   9.45am-10.45am   &   11.15am-12.15pm
